Bobby Dodd, principal of New Lexington High School, discusses the importance of communication using various media to engage with parents, students, and the community. He emphasizes using social media like Twitter and Facebook to share what is happening at the school, market programs and successes, and engage in professional development conversations. Dodd also encourages utilizing tools outside traditional forms like newsletters, websites, and text messaging to ensure all stakeholders can easily access school information and updates. The goal is to effectively communicate the school's message and story in order to engage the community.
