NeuroGen Brain & Spine Institute has been set up to help patients with incurable neurological disorders such as autism, muscular dystrophy, cerebral palsy, mental retardation, spinal cord injury, stroke, etc. We use a multidisciplinary approach to relieve the symptoms and improve quality of life of such patients.

2. Neurological, physical, functional and
psychological evaluation is conducted
on the first day at NeuroGen. This
includes routine tests blood work along
with more advance testing so as to
understand the severity and progression
of a condition.

3. The stem cell therapy process makes use of
the bone marrow derived stem cells which
is taken from the patient’s own body. It
consists of broadly three stages.
•The stem cells are procured from the bone marrow through a bone marrow aspiration
•A process of separation, harvesting, enriching or expansion and differentiation takes
place in the laboratory.
•Transfer of the cells takes place through the preferred location.

4. The patient is asked to rest for the day
and drink plenty of fluids in order to
avoid spinal headache. The next day, the
patient is sent for a rigorous
rehabilitation regime which is tailored to
the patient’s needs.

5. To ensure that we achieve the best end
result, we have a team of highly
qualified therapists and doctors. Like
physiotherapist, occupational
therapist, speech therapist, neuro-
psychologist, urologist, andrologist,
and neuro-physician.

6. The patient is advised to come back for a
follow up for the next few months and
then discharged.

7. A follow up appointment is scheduled
after every three months to keep the
patient's progress in check.
