What it is like to use LikeMIND™
October 2013

MASS ENGAGEMENT.
PINPOINT DECISIONS.
We are all individuals with our own points of view.

Yet there are moments when we are aligned.

LikeMIND™: Co-creation, problem solving, engagement and alignment.
Mass engagement. Pinpoint Decisions.

What will LikeMIND™ give you?

• A safe space to speak your mind
• A chance to say what you think without
waiting for your turn to speak

• A stimulating view into other people’s
thoughts and ideas

• A chance to get your message across to
the most senior people

• The possibility of being a thought leader
• A way to say what you think with no fear
of shame, mockery or retribution

• A chance to shape policy

Some guidelines for being a great participant

•

If you combine two thoughts then the others won’t be sure how to score
what you have said so it’s best to express yourself one idea at a time.

•

Take your time. There’s no rush - the average participant only makes a
comment once every 5 minutes

•

Avoid offensive remarks but please speak your mind. The more honest you
are, the more valuable your input.

•

There are no right and wrong answers. Your opinion is valid as your opinion.

•

Likewise there are no crazy ideas. If you are in a co-creation discussion your
“crazy” idea might just prompt someone else to think of something brilliant.
You set up the goal and that’s an important contribution.

•

Remember to score the other comments on your screen. If it doesn’t make
sense to you or seems irrelevant you can score it in the middle, otherwise
feel free to score as harshly or as generously as you see fit.
