forms, whether it be the fur of animals being used for high–end fashion products, different parts of
animals being used for rare expensive cuisine, experimenting on animals for psychologic or medical
testing or having them fight each other for entertainment. In order to address this issue, I have
decided to make a series of advertisements showcasing some of these examples of animal cruelty in a

Advertisements are everywhere today, and with people today having short–attention span, I believe
making it concise will be effective. People will see situations where animal cruelty is happening in
the background (in this case it's medical testing, rare expensive cuisine, and fur jackets) and
immediately transitions to a form of animal cruelty, followed by the slogan "Animal Cruelty – it
kinda sucks" with information underneath for more information alongside with some related
statistics. Video advertisements excel in delivering a lot of information in a short amount of time,
and in this case, I fully take advantage of it by minimizing the amount of text for the audience to take
their time to comprehend and showed them something that can be relatable to them. By showing the
animals right after, I am hoping that I can make them feel pity and be empathetic enough to take
action. While this form of text does not allow me to bombard my audience with a lot of
information, I give them the decision whether to find out more or not. Presenting a lot of
information might get your point across, but I believe that since visual presentation usually comes
across well to audience, a short skit and surprising them with the harsh reality is more effective.

Despite the constant scolding the dog received in his adolescent years, he would still have the
occasional accident in the house. But, as he grew older, he began to slow and finally understood

I am writing this to you in hope that I might persuade you to understand the importance of
preventing and stopping animal cruelty throughout Texas. Although we have laws against animal
abuse, the epidemic isn't really taken as seriously through all of Texas. Great organizations such as
the San Antonio Humane Society, are only the small portion of individuals wanting to make a
difference in the fight against animal cruelty. I feel as if the main council of Texas is only briefly
looking over the actual problem occuring in our cities. How would we be able to fund these

Persuasive Speech On Animal Cruelty
Have you ever wanted a puppy from a place called a puppy mill? I bet you thought it was a nice
place where all your puppy dreams come true. I bet you thought it was beautiful, cuddly land of
puppies. It is a land of puppies but i'm here to tell you the truth about those puppies mills. Have you
ever gone to a circus that has animals? Have you ever thought that those animals are having a good
time performing for you? I'm here to tell you the truth of it all.
I'm an owner of a dog a cat and a few other animals and when I heard the truth about what happens
to some of these animals I was astonished. Let me tell you a little bit about puppy mills. Puppy
mills bread too much dogs, and i'm sad to say but some of the puppies die,suffer, and are forced
with those traits that they a born with. After I heard this I started to research about this topic to see
how to help those animals. I got one question surrounding all my research but first I had some
smaller questions: What animals need protection? What animal are affected by animal rights? What
changes occur with no animal rights? Who is harming the animals? Which animals are getting
harmed? I had my driving question which is: How do we in U.S. solve animal Cruelty? After
doing my research I found the solutions I needed to help animals but I needed the problems to help
enforce animals rights to poachers, hunters, puppy mills, and circuses. The first problem I found
was Puppy Mills. Puppy Mills force dogs to breed and have

clumsy. From falling down stairs to face planting after tripping over his own feet, my dog is
clumsier than most humans. The many times my family and I have had a good laugh or a
moment of fear could fill a short novel. He has been a source of happiness for my family and myself
and has kept me running even when I felt I was at my lowest. I was raised with this dog, along with a
cat that did not like me when I was younger because of my tendency to pull his tail and ears. My
dog taught me how to love animals through their ups and downs, because there were many downs
on the rollercoaster that comes with owning a dog. As a young rescue, he was extremely nervous
to be in a new environment. We did not know whether or not he was abused before he was
rescued, but his nervous tendencies made us believe that something must have happened to
make him behave in such a way. By nervous tendencies, I don't mean avoiding human contact or
being violent, no instead he decided to relieve himself on my dads shoes almost the minute we
got him home for the first time. This would be one of the first of many times that we would laugh
through our slight annoyance of what this dog has done. I became the one to feed and bathe the
dog, take him outside when he needed to go and take him on the occasional walk (by occasional I
mean almost never) around the block. Owning a dog taught me my first lessons in responsibility. I
had to remember to feed him when it was time and bathe him if he started to stink, even though
my parents would do it for me if I forgot or refused. It was my job to pick up any accidents made in
the house even if I didn't want to. I learned to love something other than my family and myself. As I
grew older, he grew with me, getting older everyday. He slowed and eventually lost interest in
playing fetch. He began to sleep more than he already did, which was a lot. But he was still my
dog, he still had a bright personality and lit up at the opportunity to eat something that wasn't his
daily dose of dog kibble. He was still my family. Slowly he became what my family and I call "old
man." When we pass by him in the house or

Animal cruelty is defined as a crime of inflicting pain, suffering, or death on an animal beyond
necessary means for normal discipline. This crime comes in many different forms; it is not only
limited to neglect and domestic animal abuse, but it can also be seen in today's "entertainment"
industry. Although it is frequently overlooked, animals are being mistreated in various famous
places that attract large crowds: SeaWorld, zoos, and the circus. The use of animals for entertainment
purposes should unequivocally constitute animal cruelty.
Animals involved in the industry suffer tremendously. During an interview with PETA, Heather
Rally, a wildlife veterinarian shared her views on SeaWorld, "There is no doubt that all marine
mammals bred in SeaWorld are suffering" she admitted (Martin). There is plenty of evidence to
support the notion that the animals at SeaWorld are suffering both emotionally and physically. Sarah
Fischbeck worked at SeaWorld San Diego for six years and was exposed to the dark, brutal side of
the emplacement. She assured that if people knew or saw what she had seen, SeaWorld would not
be able to sell another ticket (Schelling). Because orcas are snatched from their families and
compelled to live in habitats and social situations that bear scant resemblance to their natural
environment and order, they become stressed and aggressive. In the wild, whales swim up to a
hundred miles a day, but at SeaWorld that would be completely unattainable because they are
