OUR VISION
To truly be the Church on the hill with the CROSS,
reaching out to the Gem Valley and beyond to the whole
world. We believe all generations need the Gospel, and
have a special concern for the younger generations to
come to Christ, and to His Church. Hence, we will remain committed to effective ministry to all age groups;
but we will specifically strive to strengthen our ministry
to youth, as God grants us opportunity.

Dear Emmett Church of the Nazarene, Thank you for the opportunity
and invitation you gave for me to speak about our work and life in
Kosovo. The money so graciously given will go to the purchase of a
new keyboard for the Pristina Church. Thank you for supporting the
Nobles and evangelical work around the world.
Blessings, Jill Noble and Family
Thank you to everyone who decorated a table for the Christmas dinner
last Sunday. All the tables were beautiful and helped make the evening special.
Merry Christmas and God Bless, Michelle Dunn
WORLD MISSION PRAYERS
PRAISES
Four pastors were approved for ordination at the District Assembly in
São Tome and Principe (STP) last month. The pastors are the first to
be ordained on the São Tome and Principe District and we give praise
to God for leading these individuals on the path of ordination. The actual ordination service will be held in January 2014. Here is a note
from an article written by missionary kid Jason Patalano published in
Out of Africa about the service at district assembly:
Now finally to the moment that four of our pastors have been
waiting for over three years: The approval for ordination. I noticed that
some pastors were confident ("I know I'll make it"). I also saw one
pastor who must have been nervous (he was perspiring quite a bit). It
was a suspenseful moment as we waited to hear the names of those
presented to the assembly for ordination. All four candidates
were approved after the reading of the Board of Credential's recommendations. These will be the STP district's first ordained ministers.”
(Jason is the teenage son of missionaries Phil and Martha Patalano
who likes to write and has years of experience with district assemblies.)
PRAY FOR
Pray for retired missionary Ted Hughes who is under hospice care
at home. Pray also for the family as they care for him. Ted and his
wife, Mima, served for many years in the countries of Ecuador,
Chile, Uruguay, Nicaragua, Cuba, Mexico and the United States.
Please pray for former Michigan District NMI President Carol
Baker. She was undergoing chemotherapy but doctors have discontinued the treatments and placed her under hospice care. An
immediate way to pray is to ask God to heal the thrush in her
mouth that is making it painful to eat or drink. Carol's son, Mark,
says the family continues to pray for ultimate healing and they
hope to have much more time with her. Please join the Baker family in prayer for Carol.
