This document describes a software application called the Western Union Money Transfer System. The application allows agents of Western Union to manage money transfer transactions between people inside and outside the country. It aims to automate the existing manual process of recording money acceptance and distribution. The application verifies sender details and issues money transfers accordingly. It can be used by any Western Union agent globally.

1. Western Union Money Transfer
INTRODUCTION:
The project entitled Western Union Money Transfer System is
developed as part of the VI Semester RDBMS package project for the partial
fulfillment of the MCA degree. It is a software application maintaining the
records related to all the transactions occurring at the company.
PROJECT:
The Western Union Company (Western Union) is a provider of global
money transfer and payment services. It offers global business payments;
and consumer-to-consumer money transfer services that enables people to
send money around the world.
Western Union Money Transfer System is a software application to
manage money transfer between people inside and outside the country,
Western union have Agents all over the world to execute its operation. This
software is for agents to manage their operation.
OBJECTIVE:
The main objective of the application is to automate the existing system
of manually maintaining the records of the acceptance of money and
distribution of money. The objective of this application is to cross verify user
given details with sender details and based on that issue the money.
SCOPE:
This application can be used by any agent of Western Union Money
transfer company across the country and even in other counties.
