Objectives: By the end of today’s lesson you should be able to: ,[object Object],[object Object]
Gender – just females….. Is it just females that suffer from stereotypes? • What is the general opinion about male ballet dancers? • Does England have a national netball team? • What problems can male gymnasts face? • Is it the role reversal that causes the problems?
Race Ethnic minority groups traditionally live in poorer areas with fewer facilities or opportunities. They traditionally have less disposable income. Home and family commitments are put first. Sporting prejudices apply, implying that certain races are less adaptable to particular activities.
