Having unrealistic expectations only makes you an
easy target for all of the “miracle” solutions that
trainers try to sell you with the promise of losing 20 to
50 pounds in a month….

These expectations also land your ass in some
extreme or “hard core” military-style boot camp where
you’re not set up for success and you feel like you are
trying to catch up….

Or, you find yourself in some overly difficult junkyard-
style workout program that is really good at training
you for the upcoming war with the Persians, but not so
good at building a solid fitness foundation that will help
you enjoy exercise and keep you safe from injury….
