L O C AT I O N : SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA
DESCRIPTION: Landscape architect responsible for conceptual design of
central park for redevelopment of Candlestick Point which
combines the new Forty-Niners football stadium, within
the new mixed-use community, and a diverse park system
that includes the redesign of California’s first urban state
park as its southern gateway to San Francisco. The park’s
linear diagonal design orients toward and directs views
to the San Francisco Bay and include overlooks, cafes,
bio-swale and rain gardens, urban plazas, and shade
structures.
