In order to be successful, companies need to dedicate resources to social media. However, the question remains...how much time and labor exactly? Many organizations have not operationalized social media. This infographic suggests the time investment required to develop an effective social media workflow. It's critical to note that every organization is different and any workflow that is implemented needs to meet capacity limitations and business goals. That being said, I feel the scope visualized here is far more realistic than the view that companies can extract value from social media by investing a few minutes per day.
