       Men‟s clothing, styles, fashions
       Jewellery and accessories
       Make up
       Hair styles
   You can also take note of 60s technologies (transport,
    home app‟s, communications, entertainment,
    housing) and
   Music, entertainment and sport in the 60s.
   NB most 60s TV shows are American and you need to be critical in
    whether these trends also applied to Australia or not.

  • 4.  There was a diversity in fashions for women in the 60s including  The flowing, peace loving hippy look of tie dye, paisley and florals  The casual teen look of denim jeans  The chic urban look of the Mods  The androgynous look / unisex look  The sexy „go-go‟ look (right. Nancy Sinatra)

Watch an episode of a 1960s TV show (primary source) and analyse the content for 60s fashion paying attention to:  Women‟s clothing materials, styles, fashions, prints  Men‟s clothing, styles, fashions  Jewellery and accessories  Make up  Hair styles  You can also take note of 60s technologies (transport, home app‟s, communications, entertainment, housing) and  Music, entertainment and sport in the 60s.  NB most 60s TV shows are American and you need to be critical in whether these trends also applied to Australia or not.  Examples: Bewitched, I Dream of Jeannie, Get Smart, Partridge Family
