2. LANGUAGE
★ Hmong is the primary language
spoken at home especially for
the elderly.
★ Speaking Hmong and English.
PHRASES WE USE DAILY
➢ ”Koj Tuaj los” meaning hello;
welcome.
➢ “Mus ho tuaj” meaning good-
bye and come back
➢ ”Nyob zoo” means hello

3. SOCIAL ORGANIZATION
General Vang Pao was a major general in the
Royal Lao Army. A leader to the Hmong American
Community in the United State. Thousands of people
follow him as a hero to our culture and as a saviour to
make it possible to come to the US.

(Once a year we wear our

Hmong New Year.)
❏ People will chat, sing, toss ball
as a fun activity.

person performed and

Shamanism was the only
religion back in the home
country. But now in the U.S.
our main one is Christianity.
