This real estate market report is
compiled as a snapshot of the regional
health of the Fredericksburg, Virginia
area.
I've seen a balanced market for the past
few years and today, in 2019, we are
seeing a slight seller's market with a
3.6% over last year and very little
inventory.
Higher priced homes seem to be lingering
on the market as the consumer has
focused more on affordable housing and
even 10 years after the last market crash
is still be conservative on what they're
willing to pay.
According to our MLS, properly priced
homes are selling for 96% of asking price
and a majority of sellers are paying up to
3% in closing cost assistance to buyers.
The rest of the report shows trends past
and present and where our growth
patterns are for the greater
