3. Sense of Aim
◦ “Yet indeed I also count all things loss for the

count them as rubbish, that I may gain Christ and be
found in Him” (Philippians 3:8).
4. Sense of Belonging
◦ “I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I
who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I
now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God,
who loved me, and gave Himself for me” (Galatians
2:20).
6. Sense of Competence
◦ “For as he thinks in his heart, so is he” (Proverbs 23:7)
◦ “ I can do all things through Christ who strengthens
me” (Philippians 4:13).

men” (1 Corinthians 7:23).
9. Sense of Security

death, I will fear no evil; for You are with me; Your rod
and Your staff, they comfort me” (Psalm 23:4).

forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those
things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the
upward call of God in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 3:13,14).
