Interior 3D Model & Animation
Here is a detailed model of Staunch Machinery’s 20KVA Generator set
which will later be used in an animated Maintenance Guide for
customers.
SolidWorks is a very efficient and powerful tool in the CAD/CAM
industry. It can be used as well to perform customized rendered
animations of complex models.
Here are some rendered images of the concrete mixer model used to
animate the installation guide of the mixer.
This project took about a month (4 weeks) due to the complexity of the
model ,and the long hours of rendering time to process the video.

Business Overview
Khaled Antar and Mohammad Jouni are a students in BAU. He is looking forward to open a
company that assembles an electromechanical device. (The device is an Automatic Switch
Lifter that is installed over existing normal circuit breakers and whose job is to lift the circuit
breaker automatically when the breaker switches off).
The location, Saida in South Lebanon is perfect to run the operations due to the lower costs
of storage rentals, and the direct contact with several electricity subscription companies.
In this area, he own an adequate storage capacity and area to store and assemble the
products.
Customer Analysis
The Industry that is meant to become is an assembling and storing facility that subcontracts
with a plastic production company to produce a plastic containment of the product as well as
a supplier of raw materials (electrical and mechanical components).
Our vision is to become a well-known corporation that sells quality products across Lebanon
and the Arab World.
The target audience is people who benefit from the electricity subscription.
The device could be connected to the internet and accessible from smart phones. It could
also be plugged not only to circuit breakers of electric generators, but also to any circuit
breaker available indoor or outdoor.
The product’s price is perceived to be reasonable. The quality standards are good, and the
system running is reliable because it is tested and working properly. The device is plugged to
the already existing circuit breaker, so there is no need to change the existing system.
Competitive Analysis
The Automatic Switch Lifter has a plug & play system; it operates within the existing system. It
is a unique product with a new idea satisfying the customers’ needs and this makes it
important from a customer’s perspective.
Our main competitive product is an electronic circuit breaker that switches by itself ; however
, the electricity providers does not recommend this device because less efficient than the
currently installed thermal circuit breaker.
The electricity providers can act as retailer of the product as well as they can benefit
financially from it.
Marketing Plan
The Product Strategy:
• Customers need continuous live electricity, and don’t want to bother themselves switching
the circuit breaker manually.
• The product can switch the circuit breaker automatically within a while.
• It can be used by plugging it to the existing circuit breaker and it will operate automatically.
• It differs from other similar products by the way it functions. It can be mounted to the
existing system without interfering in the functioning of the circuit breaker. The
competitor’s device replaces the whole existing system and this is a sensitive case for the
electricity supplier.
The Price Strategy
• The price won’t be an obstacle taking into consideration the necessity of this device.
• The price is estimated to be lower than that of competitors because of its simple
mechanism.
The Promotion Strategy
• It can be promoted through the electricity subscription offices.
• Advertising
The Place Strategy
• The product can be sold across Lebanon and countries that suffer from electricity shortage.
• It will be distributed through the electricity subscription offices.
Operations Plan
• The device electrical and mechanical components will be bought from china while its
plastic body can be casted and assembled in Lebanon.
• Products will be produced in south Lebanon because of availability of an adequate space.
• Electrical and mechanical parts will be held by a subcontracting supplier while programing,
designing and assembly of the product will be our responsibility.
• Suppliers…

  • 26. Our main competitive product is an electronic circuit breaker that switches by itself ; however , the electricity providers does not recommend this device because less efficient than the currently installed thermal circuit breaker. The electricity providers can act as retailer of the product as well as they can benefit financially from it. Marketing Plan The Product Strategy: • Customers need continuous live electricity, and don’t want to bother themselves switching the circuit breaker manually. • The product can switch the circuit breaker automatically within a while. • It can be used by plugging it to the existing circuit breaker and it will operate automatically. • It differs from other similar products by the way it functions. It can be mounted to the existing system without interfering in the functioning of the circuit breaker. The competitor’s device replaces the whole existing system and this is a sensitive case for the electricity supplier.
