3. Understanding Verb Forms, Handout p. 69-71 Don’t get hung up on all the terminology! Focus on how the form of the verb changes in different situations. Endings may be added to the verb ing and –ed Auxiliary (helping) verbs may be placed before the verb be, have, will
4. Understanding Verb Forms, p. 69-71 You can use the simple tenses in most general situations: She walks to work every day. (Simple present) She walkedto work yesterday. (Simple past) She will walk to work tomorrow. (Future)
