5. THIS WEEK: NON-WORKERS
Please sort by last assignment turned in date.
Make contact (a personal phone call is best) with
students who have not submitted work since August
1st and encourage work or begin the withdrawal
process.
Offer one-on-one assistance, help them set up the
assignment, or provide encouragement that
completion can be around the corner. Do what you
can to help them succeed, but if there are no
extenuating circumstances, remind the students that
they may take the course at a later date.
Begin the withdrawal process as needed.
6. MATT’S MONDAY CHALLENGE
Next week, the teachers with the largest
decrease in non-workers will receive the
Student’s First Award (A Celebrate You Day)
for helping those non-workers succeed.

8. SHARE FAIR
Jen’s favorite poem:
"GOALS"
As I paused to think of something that sets some men apart,
It seemed to me that goals in life must be the place to start.
Imagine playing football on an unmarked field of green;
Not a goal line to be sought and not a goal post to be seen.
It would be an aimless battle were there nothing to be gained;
Without a thing to strive for, not a score to be attained.
We must have purpose in our lives, for the flame that warms the soul
Is an everlasting vision, every man must have his goal.
