- What do these brands have in common? Instead of competing against existing companies, they innovated core concepts and built new customers and built brand value They saw a need/space for innovation and they made it happen.
- Take few moments and think about the blue oceans in your teaching community. Where is there a need/space to innovate? What is your blue ocean?
- We need models and examples just like our students, so here are some people who are claiming their voice and filling a need in our profession. Talk more about Jose Vilson and his work around #educolor
- Blogging, speaking, creating syllabus around some of the most violent incidents in our recent times from Eric Garner to Charleston Shootings. Jose is modeling is what it means to speak with convinction.
- Robin is a familiar face amongst ECET attendees and if you don’t know her, you will soon know her because of her sheer enthusiasm and can-do attitude about teachers becoming connected to one and another.
- Here is an example of MeMe leading a local revolution in KY around teacher leadership via f2f meetings and twitter chats. Most importantly, she is creating a web space where KY teachers able to connect with one and another and learn from each other.
