Q6: what have you learnt about the technologies from the process of constructing this product?
1. Question 6: What have you learnt about
technologies from the process of
constructing this product?
iPhone 5s/6: to film our media product, we
used the camera application on our phones
to create our media product. We felt that
this was a suitable idea as it meant we didn’t
have to splash out on expensive equipment
such as a camcorder or tripod, even though
this would mean a high quality film.
Cyberlink PowerDirector 11: to create my
media product is used ‘Cyberlink
PowerDirector 11’. This was the first time
using this software, and I decided to use this
instead of Windows Moviemaker. This
software allowed me to add the raw footage
edit each clip, add any soundtracks and add
transitions letting me to create my final cut.
YouTube/blogger: I used YouTube to upload
my videos for the public to view. That way, I
could attract a wide audience and get
feedback from the general public.
Blogger is like an online diary. It allowed me
to post documents and notes in
chronological order of me producing my
media product.
Slide Share: this was a quick method for me
to place large documents onto blogger.
Rather than having a long document on
Blogger, Slide Share allows me to condense
this onto one page and then you simply
scroll through it. I then learnt how to upload
documents and embed them onto my blog.
