Locals often refer to it as a “Museum without Walls” Cheomseongdae is the oldest existing astronomical observatory in Asia. Woljeonggyo Bridge was built during the Unified Silla period (AD 676-935), but was burnt down during the Joseon dynasty. After the historical research to rebuild the bridge, based on findings during excavations and other existing similar bridges from the Silla Period, Woljeonggyo was restored to its current form between 2008 to 2018. It was designated as Historic Site
