2. Adding Integers The way you add Integers is you start with a problem (example -12 + (+4) =) and ignore the – and + sign and add the numbers.

3. Example -12+(+4)= 12+4=16

4. Adding Integers Still Then still ignoring the + and – you see which number is bigger.

5. Example -12+(+4)= 12+4=16 12 is bigger than 4.

6. More Adding Integers Then you you take the bigger numbers sign(- or+) and put on your answer.

7. Example 12 is bigger than 4 so you put the- in front of the 16 (-12+(+4)= -16)
