2. Create harmonization!
Companies usually create separate teams to deal with
process areas like, sales, finance, cost controlling
warehousing and delivery
These teams tend to create a closed loop within, causing
lack of harmonization between process areas of each.
Your primary objective should be establishing the
harmony to ensure information flow within the company.

3. Control Your Gates!
Every combination of process areas have gates to deal
with outside world. These are usually the first or last
points or results of a certain process
For example. Billing, delivery, goods issue, scrapping are
good examples to last point gates.
Goods receipt, incoming invoice booking, creating incoming
delivery are good examples to starting gates.
Any re-work, correction (like cancel of invoices, reversal
of goods issues) are mostly due to disintegration with a
different process area. Hence they are very good hints
where to start work with.

4. Lead by the finance!
Don’t forget you are working for a commercial company
whose scorecard is the financial results
So while determining the interfaces start with your finance
module first.
Determine first-tier (Cost, Sales, Material Management
etc..) & second-tier relationships ( Quality, Warehouse
etc) of other process areas with finance.
Start working with above order.

5. Control Your Cost Structure!
Your costing, cost structure is a perfect way to ensure
your harmonization.
Any of lack integration causes
Incorrect cost calculation
Estimate distribution of costs instead of actual costs.
User your costing structure to correct the integration.

6. Visualize the interfaces!
Prepare an interface map between process areas to
guides you.
This map should visualize your interfaces & their
elements.

visualization..

7. Keep an eye on!
Train your subject matter experts to always keep an eye
on with other areas and be sure they are aware of what’s
going on
They must know the effects or their action in following
steps.
Make sure they make regular reviews and at least gather
a monthly meeting of all SMEs.
