  • Why come together? One of the things I would like to discuss with you Tracey is how we/you Position yourself as proficient destination experts and meeting planners partners. Is this something that is important to you & your team?

Why do we feel this initiative is necessary…because of the confusion, unawareness and misperceptions/distrust continue to plague planner perception of our value in the meetings market.

Strength and increased relevance in numbers.
An expert voice in the meetings marketplace
    A proactive partnership with empowerMINT.com

Tracey, empowerMINT thrives on advocating for & Educating Planners on the Value of a Using a CVB. How is this important is articulating the DMO value proposition & how do you connect to empowerMINT to do so?
  • If our Articles & Educational Resources on our blog are new to you, we realize they can be a bit overwhelming to jump into & know what to read first or share. To help you navigate, our team has identified our top posts for 2014. Connect her to see what got planners & DMOS excited.
  • Webinars- Tracey you have been fabulous about sharing our Webinar invites with your planners. Has that been a valuable resource for you to connect with them on a more personal level? What can our team do to make these more valuable? Example- create custom URLs for your invites to track responses of what planners you invite actually attend.

  • Our planners have indicated destination news is one of the most important things they value while in the consideration stages of sourcing their events.
  • We did an analysis of profile views prior to destination insights going out & after. The number of unique destination profile views increased by over 46 % This is pretty significant & exciting considering Syracuse was in our very first revamped destination Insights news without knowing what to expect. The empowerMINT team is very excited to see what happens in this next year as we work to improve the structure & reach of this news letter. Tracey thoughts? Also, imagine how much more effective this would be if you would share this type of content in your own website, linkedin & other social media channels? Its all about creating content & pushing it out for more visibility.
