• MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:-
• Support the CFO in defining the corporate Finance strategy in line with the Company’s overall
strategy and mission. In doing so, ensure that the Finance function is positioned as a key service
provider and collaborate to the business.
• Ensure that accounting records are prepared and maintained in accordance with the Company’s
accounting policies, recommended accounting standards and related accounting principles and
practices. This includes keeping abreast of changes in International Accounting Standards,
understanding their implications, and planning & managing change where required.
• Direct the development of the Financial and Accounting policies, procedures and systems and advise
senior management on the interpretation and implementation of these policies, procedures & systems.
This includes ensuring that there is an appropriate internal control framework in place within the
Company to effectively manage Key Business Risks and safeguard the Company’s assets.
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation, presentation and delivery of monthly and annual financial
statements to the concerned parties (senior management, corporate head office, Board, auditors etc.) as
per Accounting Policy requirements, expected standards and agreed deadlines/timeframes.
• Together with the Chief Financial Officer, oversee the preparation of annual budgets and business
plans, as well as any periodic financial forecasts, which are required to effectively manage the financial
operations of the business in line with Company Objectives. Monitor actual performance against
approved budgets & business plans, investigate, and report on significant variances.
• Participate in major commercial negotiations, and in particular oversee all financial aspects of
significant commercial transactions including funding, taxation, and structuring and financial
modeling/feasibility analysis.
• Co-ordinate the completion of the annual audit of the Company’s financial statements in accordance
with local accounting standards & regulations and Corporate Head Office requirements.
• Oversee the effective operation and utilization of the Company’s computerized financial/management
accounting & reporting systems.
• Management of the company’s bank accounts and working capital to ensure the effectiveness and
appropriate utilization of Company funds in support of the business.
• Assist the CFO as required assist in developing and implementing a strategy for raising funds for
major projects aiming at minimizing the Company’s exposure to risks in the money market, and ensure
the effective utilization of the same.
• Assist in the preparation of project financial feasibility studies and project budgets and monitor actual
financial performance of projects against these budgets in order to ensure that proposed and approved
projects are delivering both the required and expected financial returns to the Company.
• Ensure timely and complete adherence to all Taxation legislation & regulations as they relate to the
Company (including all tax compliance/ filing, payment & other obligations). Keep abreast of
Taxation legislation & regulations (and changes thereto), in order to understand the implication of such
legislation & regulations for the Company’s operations.

effectively manage Key Business Risks and safeguard the Company’s assets.
