Indonesia has more than 17.000 islands, millions of beautiful sceneries
from thousand of tourism places. If we think we’ll be bored to stay at
Indonesia because of the sight, maybe we don’t know the “Hidden
Paradise” that located in Indonesia. That’s why people from around the
world believe Indonesia is the best country for tourists.
Java, the most populated Island in Indonesia, is usually well known as
because ofthe capital city development or famous places. However, we
still need to explore Indonesiamore to attract tourism. Here are some of
the “Hidden Paradise” of Java especially Yogyakarta:
1. Imogiri Pine Forest
The pine forest in Imogiriis locatedin Dlingo, Bantul. It has lush trees and
fresh grass that will be the great shady sceneries. This pine forest is
2. famous because of the beauty and its uniqueness, so it usually used by
photographer for photo brands and location of film shots by several of
national television stations. Besides of taking the pictures, we can also
set up a tent for camping with family and an edu-place for child.
2. Kalibiru National Park, Kulonprogo
Kalibiru forest parkis locatedon the Menorehhills precisely in the Village
Hagrowilis, Kokap, Kulonprogro. If we’re from Wates (Kulon Progo
capital) just follow the road within 10 kilometers. Kalibiru stretched of
450 meters above sea level. If the weather is clear, from the forest
behind Kalibiru we can see the great view of Mount Merapi, the South
Coast, and Sermo Reservoir.
After that, we can see the attraction of social culture from people
around Kalibiru. The people really maintain the traditional arts and
culture, so the visitors can see the historical and exotic arts. Then,
various buildings are provided in Kalibiru such as cottage, substation
view, joglo and the library. Don’t forget to try the outbond, lane tracking,
and the stunning trajectory of the flying fox.
3. 3. Mangunan Fruit Garden
Mangunan Fruit Garden is located in Dlingo district, Bantul regency.
This place built on 2003 on land 23.3415 ha and 200 metres above the sea
level. Tourist can feel the exciment of fruit garden, sight of Parangtritis
beach on south, appereance of Bantul on west and the amazing Oyo
River.
We also can get various kinds of fruits equal to the height such as durian,
mango, rambutan, guava, orange, chocolate and etc. After that we’ll be
allowed to enter the jati, rumput raja and magium pine. Mangunan also
has the good facilities to stay such as hotels, meeting house and
swimming pool.
4. Historical Temples
4. Yogyakartaalso has the historicalsites especially temple. We can see the
biggest Buddhist Temple in Asia and Largest Hindu Temple Southeast
Asia. Firstly, the Borobudur Temple that located in Magelang, Central
Java. This temple became famous after UNESCO World Heritage Site and
7 Wonder of the World put Borobudur on their list. We can get beautiful
sight on the top especially when the sun rises. Secondly, Prambanan
Temple also famous because of its legend (Bandung Bondowoso and
Roro Jonggrang). Some of visitors would like to enter the educational
cinema for improving their knowledge about History. After visit
Prambanan, don’t forget to see the beautiful sceneries of sunset in Ratu
Boko Temple. InRatuBoko, we can see Yogyakarta completely including
Prambanan or Downtown.
5. Parangtritis Beach Area
5. Want to complete the holiday by getting fresh air and see the amazing
beach in South Coast of Indonesia? Parangtritis has everything that we
want for making our holiday will be memorized. First, it has the big wave
withsemi-diurnaltype so it’s suitable for surfing. There are severalstores
that sells surfing tools but we need to bring our own if we want to safe
our money. However, don’t do surfing at night because the waves can
reach 5 meters above. Second, there is largest sand dunes in Southeast
Asia located in Parangkusumo that open for public. Many visitors would
like to take photos because of its uniqueness, like in Middle East. Finally,
don’t forget to see the beautiful sunset or build the sand castle on the
beach. The sand has volcanic materials from Opak River so the structure
also stronger and suitable for build sand castle
6. Malioboro Street
Malioboro is the famous area for shopping in Yogyakarta. There are
many kinds of street food and souvenirs available on the road. The price
for every items also cheap, sometimes we cannot findit in another place.
We also can see the uniqueness of Malioboro by taking “Andong” and
6. “BecakGowes” just for five thousand rupiah. That’s why Malioboro must
be visited for tourists who’ve completed the journey in Yogyakarta.
