What is Pinterest?
Pinterest is a Virtual Pinboard.
Pinterest lets you organize and share all the beautiful things
you find on the web.
But what makes it social is, you can browse pinboards
created by other people. Browsing pinboards is a fun way to
discover new things and get inspiration from people who
share your interests.

Pinterest Myths
• Pinterest is only for women
• Pinterest is only for crafts & cooking
• Only for Product based businesses
• Cannot be used for video
• You must be invited
Don’t Neglect The “ABOUT” section
Your “About” section should include at
least one well-written paragraph about
who you are and what you’re interested
in—either as an individual entrepreneur
or as a company.
As usual, no “about” section is complete
without your actual website’s URL and a
few relevant keywords for SEO
purposes.
Integrate Pinterest with
your website, blog,
toolbar and Facebook.
10 Million Facebook connected Users
If you would like to link a Fan Page, rather than a
personal profile, you’ll need to find a workaround. This
consists of installing a custom app to your Fan Page
that will pull in your content from your Pinterest account.
Here are a couple of the most popular apps:
These custom “apps” or “tabs” make it possible to create
a bridge, allowing users to view your Pinterest boards
from your Facebook page.
Have a plan for how & why
you want to use Pinterest
