Youth Talkin’ Trash
Saturday, April 27
Local youth will take to the streets of
downtown Evansville and lead an initiative
designed to clean up and beautify the area
and nearby neighborhoods. The event will
be followed by a free lunch, a Celebration
of Youth Service, and activities at the
downtown YMCA as a part of their Healthy
Kids Day. Coordinated by USI’s Service
Learning Program, participants will join
millions of others around the globe who
are celebrating Global Youth Service Day.
The event will take place rain or shine.
Schedule of Events:
9 to 11 a.m. - Clean-up at various Evansville locations
Events at the YMCA:
11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. - Lunch and Celebration of Youth Service
1:30 to 2 p.m. - Guinness World Records Zumbatomic
2 to 3:30 p.m. - Activities and Games
