It is a puzzle!

2. Research is like a puzzle.
The pieces are the different parts/process of
research and the image/picture you will get
would be the results or findings. Just like
research, you need patience in order to finish
the puzzle. Research and piecing a puzzle are
similar with each other because they are both
time consuming. You will not be finished in
just one snap.

4. In this minimalist perspective, I will explain how
research is like the color black. The first thing that I
thought after seeing this image is that it has a mystery
in it and therefore, you need to investigate what it is,
just like in research. The reason why the image is a
black square is because the color black has a sense of
formality and orderliness. In research, you also need to
be formal and orderly. After seeing the image, you’ll
feel intimidated because you have no idea what it is so
you’ll really think or ponder about the image in order
to know what it is. Just like research, when you read
journal articles, you really need to read the article
carefully so that you’ll be able to understand it.
