2 Background As one of the largest company's in the world, we at McDonalds realize the need to take corporate responsibility.  We understand that many fast food consumers do not understand proper nutrition, therefore our goal is to create a healthier menu, educate our consumers on creating a balanced diet and to provide nutrition information on our products; We want to educate and help consumers make smarter decisions concerning their diet and in effect create better long term decisions. In order to follow through with our goals, we also need to educate our employees, so that they can inform our valued customers.
3 Planning MIDDLE MANAGEMENT   ,[object Object]
Middle management is responsible for quantitative goals (i.e. How many salads each store in it’s district is to sell per week).
 It is also in charge of deciding how advertising will be done.TOP MANAGEMENT ,[object Object]
 Proximal goals that we plan to implement immediately include selling more fresh fruits and vegetables.
 Creating a S.W.O.T. analysis helps us to determine the strength of our objectives.FIRST LEVEL MANAGMENT ,[object Object]
The majority of our tactics are to be put into action around New Years, when many people will be making resolutions to become healthier.,[object Object]
Lower obesity rates & healthcare costs
Being one of the largest food chains in the world- if we take the initiative other chains might follow suit (corporate responsibility).Weaknesses: ,[object Object]
Costs including changing products and advertising materials, Opportunities: ,[object Object]
Allow healthy options to come in without having to eliminate all unhealthy optionsThreats: ,[object Object],Planning
