Part A (a)     Weak            Attempt to compare two sets of data by
                               incomplete / wrong statistical terms.
               Fair            Compare two sets of data by suitable chart but
                               without statistical measures.
               Good            Use a correct chart to present the two sets of
                               data. Either measures of central tendency or
                               measures of dispersion are included.
               Very good       Use a correct chart to present the two sets of
                               data and include both measures of central
                               tendency and measures of dispersion.
Part A (b)     Weak            Making a fake conclusion and with non-
                               statistical interpretation.
               Fair            Making an inappropriate conclusion using some
                               statistical terms.
               Good            Making a reasonable conclusion but the
                               explanation is insufficient.
               Very good       Making a reasonable conclusion with both
                               central tendency and dispersion compared.
Part B         Weak            Guess a wrong passing mark / not recognize the
                               meaning of passing percentage.
               Fair            Guess a correct passing mark and attempt to
                               calculate the passing percentage.
               Good            Guess a correct passing mark. Correct concept of
                               passing percentage with one incorrect answer.
               Very good       All answers correct with clear presentation.
Part C         Weak            The passing percentages are not calculated.
               Fair            Attempt to calculate the passing percentages
                               but with incorrect answers.
               Good            Passing percentages calculated with one
                               incorrect answer. Proper reasons to support the
                               conclusion.
