Solar-Driven Asia is proposing to install solar panel roofs on the electric cart fleet to provide additional charging and improve sustainability. The solar roofs have been successfully installed in many locations worldwide. The solar roofs are expected to halve electrical consumption, double battery life, reduce gas buildup by 70%, require disposing of fewer batteries, and better manage toxic waste by providing additional trickle charging to the batteries. The solar roofs are inexpensive to install and have a long lifespan of 15 years.

The existing installation in Hong Kong has recorded the batteries returning with charge levels
that are averagely drawn down by 15%. The norm for draw down is averagely 70% to
depletion
The SolarDrive System will see carts return with at least 5 times more charge
Our system will see charge times reduced by at least 3 fold. Resulting in a much reduced
electricity power consumption bill and improved operational capability
