12. Advertising via social networking sites is a
very useful medium. This is because once one
person has seen the advertisement, they can
then send the link to their friends, with this
the advertisement is passed around and more
people see it. Friends can then talk about the
product on and off the site thus creating
word of mouth advertising.
13. Star theory is the idea that somebody will
have an idea of what the film will be like,
before they actually see it, based on who is in
it. If there is an actor/actress that somebody
likes they will assume that the film will be
good.
14. Intertextuality is when to pieces of text/film
are mixed by association.
This is how people tend to identify the heroes
and villains in movies (because they know
what to look for)
15. In Star Wars, do to intertextuality, it is
obvious who the hero is and who the villain
is. Luck is the hero, he wear white clothing
and quite normal clothing. Darth Vader
however is the villain he wears dark clothing
and by pure scale is a dominant character.
16.
17. There are many examples of Intertextuality
in this film as it is a parody of the famous
saga, Star Wars. It relates to the characters,
Locations, costumes, Scenery and Almost
everything in the film.
