Moodle | Unit Area policy Every Moodle Unit Instance Area (UIA) will normally display the Unit Title, Code, Level, Credits and Department display the Unit Teaching Team email contact details display the Unit Reading List, which will distinguish clearly between items recommended for student purchase, essential items that students can expect to access from MMU library and further reading; (ideally) all links to e-resources will be single-sign-on display the Unit Assessment Regime, Submission and Work Return Deadlines display the Unit Timetable for the enrolled student for the next month be organised as a week-by-week teaching schedule display a link to the Unit Specification and Unit Handbook display a link to the Support Area display any “provisional” marks for the Unit held in QLS for the enrolled student

Support & Training | Aims of EQAL 3B Raise awareness of ways in which learning tech can be used to support unit learning outcomes & assessment strategies developed in EQAL Ensure learning tech embedded effectively for administrative and organisational purposes to enhance the student experience Support SLTFs, Faculty EQAL Leads, Faculty Moodle Leads and other Faculty leaders to design & implement curriculum development interventions to support effective embedding of learning tech Design & implement an appropriate range of online support resources accessible by all staff Co-ordinate work of faculty-based E-Learning Support Officers to ensure up-skilling of academic staff to ensure on-going viability Ensure effective engagement of central support units including ICTS, Library and SAS to deliver elements of training, support & administration appropriate to their areas of responsibility, and Establish and implement agreed protocols with appropriate stakeholders for management and resolution of queries about VLE & tools
