my magazine with the
masthead at the top of
the front cover. This will
help attract audience, as
it will be easily visible
and eye catchy.

the headlines and
articles around my main

me achieve to show the
variety of the articles
that are included in my
magazine. Articles will
be placed in such way
that the main image will
be clearly visible.
Main image – The main
image will be placed in
the center of the front
cover and will be

artist, preferably a
guitar player, but other
artists still count as an
option.

article. That will be the
image of the main story,
it will be next to or
underneath the main
story article. Page No. 1

nice looking. Under each

is connected to. Each
headline will be
numbered, according to
the page that it
represents.
Background – There will
be an image included in
the background, the

5. MAIN ARTICLE IDEAS
Potential Article
Ideas
New
Bands
FestivalsTours
Tips
I can write about tours that band are
attending, the dates of the tours, the
locations and the bends going on tours
In this kind of article I will include
tips for different types of
instruments and different types of
music styles.
New bands and their identities are
always in the spotlight, this is most
probably the most attractive article
about music.
Festivals are always happening
and music fans want to know
when and where are they going to
be.
6. INITIAL DOUBLE SPREAD ARTICLE TOPIC
New Bands
I have decided to write about new music bands as my main
story. In rock music, there are rarely only singers, it is mostly
made out of bands, that is the reason why I have chosen to write
about new uprising bands, as they are what is rock music made
of. Music fans constantly want to discover new music resources
to listen to, to learn from and to watch, that is why making a
main article about an uprising music band will make the
magazine more attractive. I believe that this is a good theme to
write about since it is wanted by music fans and helps magazine
be more popular.

band from Serbia. This band started as a school band and stayed after
school. They established in 2014, since then, many member passed
through the band line up, some have been there since the beginning,
some are new. Since 2014, they have been rocking stages wherever
they go, they had some problems in the past, but now, it is all resolved.
The interview is after their performance in Dom Omladine.
Color Scheme
10. DEVELOPMENT
From my initial design I have evaluated the good and the negative
aspects of it. I have changed some details from the initial designs and
developed my final idea. I have excluded the ideas that do no suit a
music magazine and would not help in attracting attention.
I have decided to move the articles from the bottom of the front cover
and leave that space open.
The content page will mostly stay the same, except there will be a
picture on the right part of it, and on the bottom the main story with a
picture on its right.
The double spread article will have the text and its title on the left, on
the right will be the main focus of the image with a quote from the
article.
11. SAMPLE QUESTIONS FOR MY INTERVIEW
After writing an introduction, there will be a section of questions
included in the article, I will choose some questions from this
sample:
If you don’t mind, I’d like to start from the place where you feel the
best, the stage. Dom Omladine, let’s hear impressions?
I’d like to go back to the beginning of your band. You have been here
for a long time. How would you describe the evolution of your band
over the years?
How would you describe the changes in the music that you play?
There has been a lot of people in you band, and each has left its
mark. Did former members influence the music that you play, and to
what extent work with them influenced you as a person?
12. How does this way of working affect the music itself in the creative
sense, and how much in terms of promotion? Are you in any way,
directly, indirectly, or on your own cause a change in the sound or
message that your music is to send to people?
Your recently released a new single “We Are”. Why such a title and
what does it mean to you?
What events are you particularly fond of and because of which are
you most frustrated when you remember them?
Can we expect some announcements for the next period?
At the very end, do you have a message for our readers?
