As delivered in Austin, TX during my Microsoft keynote, I conveyed how Microsoft is delivering on the cloud-first, mobile-first version for SharePoint and OneDrive. I focused on presenting a current, comprehensive look at the features and experiences that deliver solid content collaboration capabilities to organization, to teams, and individuals. The breadth of the session was to showcase how people connect with others, with content, and apps via their mobile, intelligent intranet - modern SharePoint team sites and powerful tools in Office 365. This helps companies deliver simple, powerful file sharing and collaboration with mobile experiences and rock-solid sync with OneDrive. It, too, is possible to create business apps with Microsoft Flow and PowerApps and build solutions with the SharePoint Framework. The breadth of offerings promotes deliver cloud-born innovation to your on-premises and hybrid SharePoint farms, providing your IT organization controls for security, compliance, and manageability. That's the future of SharePoint. It's here, and growing.

“Digital transformation is going mainstream. The pervasive access to new digital services changes every aspect of business—shaping growth, disrupting industry landscapes, and providing the catalyst for new business models, products, services, and experiences for businesses to transform themselves into digital businesses.
And you, the user, are at the center. We are continuously delivering on this vision with SharePoint, OneDrive for Business, and Office 365—the most complete, secure cloud productivity service.” [Click]
Digital transformation adapts to where you work: home, work, and on-the-go. [Click]
To adapt to what you work on, how you work, and who you work with—whether you’re in creation mode, analyzing numbers, amplifying your information, or collaborating on a proposal. [Click]
And you’ll be working across numerous applications, data sets, regions of personal space, and team spaces. [Click]
No matter where, how, or who you work with, you expect and demand that it be secure, private, and compliant—founded on trust between you and your colleagues, and your service provider. We take our commitment seriously to safeguard our customers’ data, to protect their right to make decisions about that data, and to be transparent about what happens to that data. [Click]
Collaboration is central to productivity. Employees now work on nearly twice the number of teams than they did five years ago. Mobile and remote is the new normal, extending far beyond the four walls of an organization. To get work done, teams need an easy way to self-organize, stay connected on-the-go, and tap into the network of stakeholders both inside and outside of their company. People and how they work is one of the main priorities to promote and support. [Click]
Employees expect to work securely wherever they want and with the device that best fits their needs. Office 365 enables mobile productivity across many scenarios—with the SharePoint mobile app, OneDrive, Microsoft Teams, and the Office mobile apps—working with files, viewing them, editing them, or sharing them internally and externally on-the-go or while at your desk. [Click]
Information overload wastes up to 25% of employees’ time—costing US businesses almost a billion dollars annually. To successfully compete in the digital world, organizations need to make informed decisions backed by data—whether to improve products and services, business metrics, or internal team effectivity. [Click]
Every team is unique and has their own needs and workstyle. Users can select the application that works best for them for discussions to specific team members and throughout the organization with email, chat, and broader communities of practice. [Click]
Time to use is important for business agility. You need a zero-to-low code approach to enable people to automate workflows and quickly build custom apps that suit their specific needs, to streamline their business processes through simple configuration. [Click]
Industry leaders are taking advantage of the data analytics in Office 365 for insights to drive better business decisions. How much time you spend in email, working with others in meetings, and view/editing documents all attribute to how effectively you are working and what is returning the greatest impact. [Timed. With the right people, the right tools, and continuously refined processes and best practices, you can simplify the complexity of your work.
The velocity of your work and the quantity of information you need to process is staggering.
You work with multiple teams, large and small—divisional, departmental, project, and functional teams.
While that work takes place in the context of your organization, your teams often cross traditional org-chart boundaries and include team members from outside your organization entirely.

With Office 365 we are delivering the hybrid cloud, a unified and consistent platform spanning your data center and multiple clouds, using what you have while extending your reach and control. Combining SharePoint, Exchange, Lync, and Office 365 allows organizations to take advantage of cloud innovation while securing their on-premises data and processes.
In 2016, we set out a new vision for SharePoint and OneDrive to bring our customers forward with cloud-powered, intelligent, and mobile experiences. We released more innovations in one year than at any point in our product’s history.
We invested heavily in OneDrive and team sites and began our journey to modernize our offerings for business process transformation. With a new home for SharePoint in Office 365 and our new mobile apps, we put your intranet and your files in your pocket, for customers using both SharePoint Online in Office 365 and SharePoint Server 2016 on-premises.
