 This course considers some recent
developments in the field of marketing-
management, education, and practice that are
technology-directed, innovative business and
information technology focused with relevance
to industrial needs of promoting public access
to knowledge.
 Basic Research should be of interest to their
actual problems encountered in classroom, the
school, or the community that lead themselves
with specific investigations;

 This course provides the pedagogical benefits
for students studying business, education, and
information systems and technology
 Educational innovations advocated in
classroom organizations, teaching materials
and procedures and application of technical
devises and equipment

 Limited in scope and appropriate for analysis
in the physical, mental and emotional
conditioning of students
 For purposes of verification under various
conditions in different laboratories
 Off-shoots of studies under way

 Arts and Education Students: AES provides a detailed
understanding of the way basic information is derived from
respondents of educational institutions linking students’
understanding of actual problems encountered in
classrooms, the school and communities leading themselves
for investigation appropriate for the beginning researcher
than problems more remote from their experience.
 IS and IT students: AIS provides an understanding of the
basic processes that underpin controls in automated
processes bringing forth new problems and opportunities
for research such as online procedures or application of
technical devises and equipments.

 Business and Management Students. BMS
provides systematic analysis of existing
practices and needs in the field of business
viewed as challenges in the areas of
marketing and entrepreneurship
 Accounting and Financial Accounting
Students: AFAS provides an understanding
of the role that information systems play in
the evolution of accounting processes. It
initiates the creation of a Resources-Events-
Agents (REA) model designed to operate in a
computer-based information technology.

 Students who successfully complete this
subject should have the knowledge and skills
to:
 know the various demands on related tracks
researches where titles should be founded
 Justify the relevance and responsiveness of titles to the
immediate thrusts of HEIs researches.
 construct research abstracts and full research content
on the bases of acceptable format

 Each week the lecture session will
include a two-hour lecture outlining the
major issues pertaining to each week’s
theme.
 This lecture will provide an overview
only, and you are required to
supplement this lecture with reading
from the text and other sources.
 Lectures are held in one hour in two
sessions per week; and another one hour
per week in the application of theories
introduced during the lecture session
 Scheduled during Tuesday and Friday-
Section 1- 7:30-9:00 AM; Section 2-
4:36:00PM 12
 Every student is required to attend the tutorial or
offline mentoring.
 The tutorial/offline mentoring will be held during
Wednesdays: 1pm to 5pm by scheduling
 Tutorials start in week 2. Please note that attendance
at tutorials/mentoring will be recorded because it is
an important component of the assessment in this unit.
 Added mentoring processes will also be conducted
online using chats, e mails, and sms so that you can
finish your manuscripts on timely manner. The
content is very important to finish this course.

Tutorial/mentoring exercises (5 x 1marks) 5%
Assignment: Review of the basic
requirements in your manuscript writing
20%
Final Examination (Oral and Written) 70%

All components of the above assessment are compulsory and must
be submitted. Also, you must achieve at least 70% for the final
examination component to be eligible for an automatic pass grade in
this course.

 Study the Direction for An Orientation on
Library Materials for next meeting.
 Please come on time, proceed
immediately to the Library for 30-45
minutes orientation before our classroom
lecture/discussion on research activity

The aim of this assignment for library
orientation is to work through the use
of a matrix to supplement your
related studies/literature,
methodology, and questionnaire and
the introduction of your manuscript.

 Work through the specified directions for any homework
or online activities to provide a reconstructed work
based on suggestions in your attached e mails bearing
the procedures of using colors, suggestions and
examples as they are to be returned back to this e mail
atiram40@yahoo.com
 The critiquing proceeds from preliminary to the final
reconstruction of your manuscript that should include
the cycles you did from the start as a minimum
requirement of a journal type research. It composed of
Chapter I for Prelim, Chapter II for Mid Term, and
Chapter III for Pre-Finals.

 Those who wanted exemption to the scheduled written exam
for Pre Finals should include a draft Questionnaire in their
requirements. It is expected also that requirements in the
previous terms should automatically become part of the
current term requirements.
 One week before the scheduled examination(s) Prelim, Mid
Term, Pre Finals will be the expected date of submission of
requirements in soft copies to be uploaded in this e mail
address: atiram40@yahoo.com.
 The final titles approved when published in school Bulletin
Boards and submitted to the Commission on Higher
Education shall be your Final titles till you finish your
Results and ready for Oral Presentation, Critiquing of
Technical Panel.

 What outcomes should we expect from this assignment?
 The full manuscript of your approved proposed study
that is for Res 1- Chapters 1,2,3 and Questionnaire; and
for Res2 the Chapters 4,5 and Bibliographic references
 The procedures of Online and Offline mentoring
processes that will come as part of tutoring
 The technical knowhow of gathering data online with a
closed supervision of a mentor
 You will be able to use this framework to give you with a
better understanding on how the E Counseling
techniques work in the online mentoring activities
 Finishing the requirements for Peer review purposes

  • 4.  This course considers some recent developments in the field of marketing- management, education, and practice that are technology-directed, innovative business and information technology focused with relevance to industrial needs of promoting public access to knowledge.  Basic Research should be of interest to their actual problems encountered in classroom, the school, or the community that lead themselves with specific investigations; 4
  • 5.  This course provides the pedagogical benefits for students studying business, education, and information systems and technology  Educational innovations advocated in classroom organizations, teaching materials and procedures and application of technical devises and equipment 5
  • 6.  Limited in scope and appropriate for analysis in the physical, mental and emotional conditioning of students  For purposes of verification under various conditions in different laboratories  Off-shoots of studies under way 6
  • 7.  Arts and Education Students: AES provides a detailed understanding of the way basic information is derived from respondents of educational institutions linking students’ understanding of actual problems encountered in classrooms, the school and communities leading themselves for investigation appropriate for the beginning researcher than problems more remote from their experience.  IS and IT students: AIS provides an understanding of the basic processes that underpin controls in automated processes bringing forth new problems and opportunities for research such as online procedures or application of technical devises and equipments. 7
  • 8.  Business and Management Students. BMS provides systematic analysis of existing practices and needs in the field of business viewed as challenges in the areas of marketing and entrepreneurship  Accounting and Financial Accounting Students: AFAS provides an understanding of the role that information systems play in the evolution of accounting processes. It initiates the creation of a Resources-Events- Agents (REA) model designed to operate in a computer-based information technology. 8
  • 9.  Students who successfully complete this subject should have the knowledge and skills to:  know the various demands on related tracks researches where titles should be founded  Justify the relevance and responsiveness of titles to the immediate thrusts of HEIs researches.  construct research abstracts and full research content on the bases of acceptable format 9
  • 10.  This is an undergraduate course  It is assumed that the student will have the following knowledge or experience:  Technical Writing or Engl. 9/ Educ 104  Business Statistics or Probability & Statistics  Use of Word and Excel 10

  • 12.  Each week the lecture session will include a two-hour lecture outlining the major issues pertaining to each week’s theme.  This lecture will provide an overview only, and you are required to supplement this lecture with reading from the text and other sources.  Lectures are held in one hour in two sessions per week; and another one hour per week in the application of theories introduced during the lecture session  Scheduled during Tuesday and Friday- Section 1- 7:30-9:00 AM; Section 2- 4:36:00PM 12
  • 13.  Every student is required to attend the tutorial or offline mentoring.  The tutorial/offline mentoring will be held during Wednesdays: 1pm to 5pm by scheduling  Tutorials start in week 2. Please note that attendance at tutorials/mentoring will be recorded because it is an important component of the assessment in this unit.  Added mentoring processes will also be conducted online using chats, e mails, and sms so that you can finish your manuscripts on timely manner. The content is very important to finish this course. 13
  • 14. Task Weighting Tutorial/mentoring participation and oral class presentation 5% Tutorial/mentoring exercises (5 x 1marks) 5% Assignment: Review of the basic requirements in your manuscript writing 20% Final Examination (Oral and Written) 70% TOTAL 100% 14 All components of the above assessment are compulsory and must be submitted. Also, you must achieve at least 70% for the final examination component to be eligible for an automatic pass grade in this course.
  • 15. 15  Study the Direction for An Orientation on Library Materials for next meeting.  Please come on time, proceed immediately to the Library for 30-45 minutes orientation before our classroom lecture/discussion on research activity
  • 16. 16 The aim of this assignment for library orientation is to work through the use of a matrix to supplement your related studies/literature, methodology, and questionnaire and the introduction of your manuscript.
  • 17. 17  Work through the specified directions for any homework or online activities to provide a reconstructed work based on suggestions in your attached e mails bearing the procedures of using colors, suggestions and examples as they are to be returned back to this e mail atiram40@yahoo.com  The critiquing proceeds from preliminary to the final reconstruction of your manuscript that should include the cycles you did from the start as a minimum requirement of a journal type research. It composed of Chapter I for Prelim, Chapter II for Mid Term, and Chapter III for Pre-Finals.
  • 18. 18  Those who wanted exemption to the scheduled written exam for Pre Finals should include a draft Questionnaire in their requirements. It is expected also that requirements in the previous terms should automatically become part of the current term requirements.  One week before the scheduled examination(s) Prelim, Mid Term, Pre Finals will be the expected date of submission of requirements in soft copies to be uploaded in this e mail address: atiram40@yahoo.com.  The final titles approved when published in school Bulletin Boards and submitted to the Commission on Higher Education shall be your Final titles till you finish your Results and ready for Oral Presentation, Critiquing of Technical Panel.
  • 19. 19  What outcomes should we expect from this assignment?  The full manuscript of your approved proposed study that is for Res 1- Chapters 1,2,3 and Questionnaire; and for Res2 the Chapters 4,5 and Bibliographic references  The procedures of Online and Offline mentoring processes that will come as part of tutoring  The technical knowhow of gathering data online with a closed supervision of a mentor  You will be able to use this framework to give you with a better understanding on how the E Counseling techniques work in the online mentoring activities  Finishing the requirements for Peer review purposes
