Elasticity and Security
Federation
• Federation solutions combine the capacity of several clouds for better
scalability and availability.
• Gradiant has a running prototype of a solution for transparent PaaS
federation (Cloud Me Up project).
Elasticity
• Automatic scaling of resources under demand.
• Gradiant members have experience on the design and development of
elasticity solutions.
Security/Privacy
• Encryption solutions for safe storage, management and processing of
sensitive information in the cloud.
• Gradiant has developed SW for transparent encryption of documents in
Google Docs (SafeGDocs). Also, Gradiant develops SW and HW solutions
to ensure data privacy in the cloud, for example to manage health records.
