What you have on the screen should only be key points to jog your memory and to
stand you to your audience. No body wants to read large bunches of text on the screen.
Often people are to far away to see it. Reading that large bunch of text out load is silly too
because your audience can read it to themselves faster in their head. But then you are left
there staring a a screen waiting for them to finish reading, but you don’t know when they are
finished, so you wait too long. Then because the room is hot and stuffy your audience goes to
sleep, someone in the back starts to snore and everyone else starts fiddling on their laptops
and tweeting that “this is the lamest presentation ever!”.
