Project Lynx Life was an early conservation effort for the Iberian lynx in Spain from 1994-1999 that involved local autonomous communities where the lynx population existed. The project focused on monitoring lynx populations and their habitats to improve understanding of population sizes and risks, as well as controlling non-natural lynx mortality. An awareness campaign launched in 1996 included a school contest, educational materials for hunters, posters and stickers to promote coexistence with the lynx.
