• Print- Preliminary exercise: Using DTP and an
image manipulation program, produce the
front page of a new school/college magazine,
featuring a photograph of student in a
medium close-up. Plus some appropriately
laid out text and a masthead. Additionally,
produced a DTP mock-up of the layout of the

shoulder pads, also covers her up. Gaga is pulling
the top away from her to reveal herself, this shows
confidence. Teasing the reader.
Framing: medium shot, shows most important part
of her. Focuses reader on her hair and it is the
boldest part of her.
Facial Expressions: her facial expression is quite
serious her eyes are set on the camera showing she
knows what she wants. Her mouth is open as if she
is after something. Gripping teeth shows intensity
and power.
Pose: Gaga is stood up confidentially will her hand
pulling after her clothes, shows she is being flirty.
Hair and Makeup: very flamboyant hair, bright
purple shows how bold she is and the bow in her
hair shows how she is unique an d distinctive.
Costume: all we see on Eminem is a black vest, this
shows how he doesn’t need much to get peoples
attention. He is also wearing a watch, shows how
normal he is as you wouldn’t usually wear a watch
in a photo-shoot.
Framing: medium shot, shows most important part
of him. Closer to his tattoos /muscles which are a
big part of the picture, shows boldness, strength
and danger.
Facial Expressions: very tense, angry, shows danger

shows anger and how he doesn’t put up with
anything. Looks very independence with his bold
tattoos. Also looks fed up.
Hair and Makeup: is hair and makeup is minimal,
