11. English Quest - Poetry
“Bring me a sunset in a cup
Golden liquid, shimmering liquid
Liquid sky that was there when time started
Golden rays of light that still stand
Strong as ever since the beginning of
eternity”
12. English Quest - Poetry
“The only ghost I ever saw,
Was a man knocking on my door,
A downhearted traveller, hungry and sick,
He looked poorly, his name was Mick,
I let him inside,
And to boost my pride,
He was healthy again in the morning”
13. English Quest – Responding to a Text
“I feel that I can relate to the experience that the
character is having. I feel sad that, as it seems, her
only friend is an adult and she thinks that she does
not have any other friends.
I would want to know what the people in her
"communities" are like, as in why does she not get
along with them?
I think she felt lonely and sad.
At my old school I was in the same situation and
felt the same way she would now. I was bullied
because I was different and I did not enjoy the
things they did.”

Reviewer Comments and Feedback
“Your responses are thoughtful and well written.
They show that you have empathy for the Atlantian
teenager in the story. This is an important quality to
possess and, sometimes, as unfortunate as it may
seem at the time, negative personal experiences
often build empathy within individuals towards
others in similar situations.
Congratulations! Your Quest response has been
approved, to be passed onto the Council! You will
be rewarded for your excellent work!”
15. English Quest – Responding to a Text
“i have felt like this character did when i am around
one of my many friends I have to act cool and do
things i don't want to do or all my friends will just
ditch me and I will become a weird person
according to them But I have a friend from my
school whose name is *** and I can act like myself
around him because he is one of those cool
people who makes me happy without trying.
He is also very popular.”
