2. Time Management
Managing your time is a huge part of being successful
in college.
When it is time to study be sure to put aside all
distractions. Make sure your phone is away from you
and the TV is off.
Make sure that your prepared for your tasks so that you
don’t waste time looking for things you need.
Make sure to do school work and study while your body
is most awake.
3. Engage in School Life
Be sure to always show up for class and be on time.
Make sure you do all of your assignments and
assigned reading to insure you don’t fall behind.
Make sure to be mentally and physically ready to learn.
Be sure to ask questions and be involved in class
discussions. Always ask your teacher or
classmates for help when needed.
4. Tips on Reading and Writing
Read slowly and ask questions.
Use descriptive vocabulary.
Be sure to always remember who your audience is
when writing a paper.
Ask for feedback on your papers and always edit any
mistakes.
