I was also part of the Global Planning Leadership Team where I supported the US operation to design and   implement a Business Intelligence tool to provide the planning area with the analytical capability to take educated decisions.   Main Achievements:  Implement SAP in LATAM as the owner of the planning processes I was responsible for the readiness of the countries from a   process perspective to have a smooth implementation as well as a successful GO Live in each of the 11 countries in LATAM. Also as part of the blue printing and new process flow I designed and implemented different tools to use SAP to its full potential while ensuring the   connectivity and full support to our S&OP process and the Business Intelligence tool previously designed and implemented in every   country.  Design, Implement and Deploy the ONE Planning SCORECARD and Planning Audit in order to evaluate in an standard,   objective and quantitative way the level of maturity and performance of each of the different planning processes and communicate timely and effectively to all the stakeholders the status of their planning processes and jointly define the right action plans to take the   processes to a benchmark state.   LATAM S&OP Manager Oct 2008- Oct2010   Responsible for implement in the S&OP process in 11 countries in LATAM, at the same time I was also the S&OP Manager for Mexico where I was   responsible for the operation of the process with outstanding performance.   Main Achievements:  Implement S&OP in 11 Countries in LATAM by creating an implementation methodology consisting in educating the   organization in each country, designing the right S&OP process to match the local needs while maintaining a standard process, developing and implementing analytics tools to support the process, implementing a Business Intelligence Tool (Hyperion Essbase) as   a ONE SINGLE SOURCE of truth and finally training and launching the S&OP process in every country. After 2 years the process was   implemented in 11 countries with outstanding improvements of more than 30% increase in Forecast Accuracy, reductions of more than 20% in Working Capital and Sustained Case Fill Rate Above 97% and up to 99.9% in some countries.    Create CLOROX UNIVERSITY in Mexico an amazing project with the objective to develop HIGH PERFORMANCE LEADERS throughout the supply chain. All the materials for each training were developed by the leaders of each functional area and we each   and everyone of the administrative employees in Mexico.   S&OP and Supply Planning Manager Mexico Jan 2007- Oct2008   Responsible for the Supply Planning of Mexico operation as well as implementing an S&OP process from scratch in order to become the benchmark   process for international CLOROX business. I had 3 planners reporting directly to me.   Main Achievements:  Implement F2S process in SAP obtaining outstanding results by improving and sustaining the CFR indicator at a 99.5% and   reducing the Days of Stock (Working Capital) by 25% in local manufactured products and up to 50% in imported product. Implement S&OP Process from scratch starting by designing the right process to improve all the budget creation cycle through a    consensus between all the different areas of the company and defining the right strategies, plans and alternatives to reduce risk and   achieve the companies goals. With this implementation we improved the forecast accuracy from 42% to a sustained 77% measured at an SKU level. This supported the reduction of the stock policy by more than 20% and enabled the reduction on the Total Delivery Cost   by providing stability to the operation as well as taking more profitable decisions when creating the demand plan. A new Business Intelligence tool was implemented to support all the S&OP process and provide one single source of truth for every discussion needed   in the S&OP cycle.    Walmart Recognition as TOP 3 Suppliers 2007 due to the sustained outstanding service level given throughout a year by delivering a sustained 99% service level.    CEO Award Best Overall Leadership and Performance 2008 being the highest recognition given in the company to the best Product Supply Organization for sustained extraordinary performance.     Demand Planning Manager, Skin Care Oct 2006- Jan2007   Responsible for creating an accurate forecast for the 98 SKU’s of the Skin Care Category and leading the Brand Team to a consensus on the volume   that should be targeted to be sold.   Main Achievements:  Improvement of the SFA (Sales Forecast Accuracy) to 78% by identifying the best mathematical Forecast but mainly   through improving the communication with the sales and marketing team to incorporate realistic and accurate volumes to the plan from each initiative they had to create demand.     Supply Planning Manager, Health & Wellness / Deployment Planning Coordinator Jan 2005- Oct2006   Responsible for the production scheduling, materials requirements planning, inventory management and Service level to fulfill the demand plan agreed with the brand team for the Health and Wellness Category. Coordinate the Deployment Planning Planners to distribute the finished goods of all   the company throughout the national distribution network. I leaded a team of 4 planners and 5 deployment planners reporting to me.   Main Achievements:  Sustained Inventory Availability of 98% by establishing an optimum stock policy and a distribution strategy to minimize costs   while delivering the required customer service. F2S and OTC Power User for the SAP Implementation where I participated in the definition of the standard processes for    LATAM as well as ensuring a successful GO Live and deliver outstanding customer service.  Expert user of the BI solution implemented as part of the SAP implementation (COGNOS BI) to provide the company with all the analytical capabilities it required.  Redesign National Distribution Network Project by defining the optimum capacities required delivering the agreed customer service while reducing the stock levels and optimizing the transportation cost of distribution and transportation.

Materials Buyer/ Line Scheduler / Deployment Planner Jun 2004- Jan2005 Responsible for the supply of the margarine category by balancing the production lines, planning the raw and pack materials in SAP and distributing the finished products throughout the distribution network based on the demand forecast. Main Achievements:  Implement a Supplier Reliability Process in order to evaluate the performance of the main suppliers and this way establish a   strategic win-win relation with them and also provide feedback to purchase department to improve the negotiations with key suppliers.    Increase the Schedule Adherence by establishing a quantitative method to evaluate the service level of the production lines and   a formal and efficient communication that increased the efficiency of the production lines and reduced to zero the unplanned stops due to lack of materials.  Highest Inventory Availability in UNILEVER History of 98% by establishing the optimum process to distribute the finished goods in the network in the right timing and quantity. Import / Export Planner Jan 2004- Jun2004 Responsible of the project to define the optimum order quantities to be imported from Europe and distributed to Mexico and Central America decreasing the inventory levels while increasing the service levels to customers. Main Achievements:  Reduction of 32% of Inventory levels (aprox. €800,000 monthly reduction) by implementing the optimum stock policy as well as defining the optimum re-order point, quantities and mix of products required to optimize the shipment. Quick Change Overs Leader (Autonomous Maintenance Pillar of WCM) Jan 2003- Jan2004 Responsible for creating a system to reduce the change overs of the Fem Care Production lines and lead all the operators on each change over that took place in the plant (120 operators). Main Achievements:  Reduction of the change over time 98% by creating a step by step manual that presented all the steps toe be followed to perform a perfect change over and run perfectly when turned on.  Certified step 1,2 3 and 4 of Autonomous Maintenance on the Fem Care module by participating as part of the Autonomous Maintenance leadership team defining the action plans to achieve each of the different WCM audits.
