2. Style sheet
These three color sheets are all separate color schemes I plan on using in my work. Since my theme will
be around emotion I have tried to give each piece colors that are connotation of that emotions and
feelings behind it.
The first will be sadness or melancholy so the colors are darker and lots of greys and blues which
generally relate to sadness but also bad weather and grumpy days.
The second will be happiness or joy where I have gone with bright colors that usually relate to feelings
of joy and excitement, but again could relate to a sunny happy day.
The last one I have used the colors of the rainbow as its more random and will be the colors for
confusion or insanity.
3. fonts
Here I have got a set of fonts that I may use
on my final product, the first thing you notice
with the fonts I've chosen is they all look
similar and quite basic.
This is because my project does not require
too much text on the pieces the font will only
be seen on the poster and booklet there fore I
would like to stick with san serif fonts, as they
are easy to read and are simplistic also match
the style of the booklet with a modern style.
Also I will be using two of the fonts in my
product and will be using one of the thinner
fonts and one fatter, this is because they work
well together when having the main text you
want people to read first balder and fatter.
4. Layout: poster
For my project I plan on
making a poster to advertise
my exhibit, this is a basic
layout of what it my roughly
look like.
I would like my poster to be
simple just having an image
in the center and the text
needed above and below
this image just as what I
have here, I don’t want loads
of text as I want the image
to be the main focus.
I plan on making an image
similar to this with some one
crying or throwing up words
which will be different
emotions.

When I make my final
project I plan on
making a booklet for
the art exhibit which
will include the pieces
and what the process
was behind them and
what information may
be important in terms
of the art.
I will also include a
floor plan for the
exhibit which I have
planned out here,
when I make the real
one I will include far
more detail and it will
all be a bit smaller in
scale.
6. Layout 3 illustrations
I would like to draw an image that
represents confusion and frustration
and how it makes me personally feel,
therefore I would like to draw a
person who looks slightly lost and out
of it, but then to include a
kaleidoscope effect in the back to
represent how your brain can feel in
these fits of emotion.
I will include darker colors in the
person but the Kaleidoscope will have
more colors too add to the trippy
style and confusion.
7. For one of my pieces I would like to
show depression, and to do this I again
will draw a character but that looks
completely insane with arrows pointing
out of his head but spiraling round back
to him.
Each arrow will have a different emotion
or thought that can go through peoples
heads when they feel low and to show
how these thoughts can lead to more
sad thoughts, again I will include darker
colors as it is a darker emotion and it
matches my style more so.
8. Layout poster
GRAPHIC ART
EXHIBIT
This is one of the layout designs for my
poster, I have chosen to make one like this
as the exhibit I am making will be graphic
design based and after looking back at
various existing posters they generally use
shapes and colors to make a design.
If I were to take this forward I would try
to make the poster have a abstract design
style, as this type of poster would be
appealing and eye catching to most from
first glance which is key.
However I would include more text on the
real as I will need to include the
conventional aspects of a poster.
9. Planning areas: graphic art
For this side of my production I will be making my own
graphic art or illustration, I will be making 3-4 pieces of art
using the graphics tablet and track pad.
Each piece I will try to match up the style which I would like to
be trippy and slightly dark.
They will each have a meaning to the image I will try to push,
as its my first time trying anything like this I may struggle with
this part.
For this I will require software, a graphics tablet and also pen
and paper.
I would like this to take up no more then a week and a half as I
will struggle more with the photography side and need more
time spent on the editing.
I will be using the darker color scheme I have made for the
illustrations as they will all have darker meanings and will
represent emotions such as sadness and insanity.
10. Planning area: Photography
• For the photography side of my work I would like to
produce 5-6 pieces as they are quicker to make
however I don’t have loads of practice.
• I want the images to still match with my trippy and
dark art style.
• The meanings behind the photos wont be clear but I
will try to make it so.
• This will require me to have a camera, tripod the
editing software but also I will need one other model
except myself with similar clothing style to me.
• I would like to try implement the illustration into a
couple of photos as it is what I experimented with and
it worked but also its original and shows my skills
better.

15. Contingency Planning
Potential Issue Solution
I problem that may occur when working is that
the pc I use may not have the software I
require.
if so I will change computers in the room or
move to the library.
The place in which I save my work and the
individual pieces may corrupt an ill lose
everything.
therefor I will make sure to save several
backups on pcs, email and memory sticks of my
work.
I may not get the equipment I need including
the graphics tablet and a camera.
I will make sure to book way in advance and if
it still is an issue, I can use the mouse to draw
or scan the work in whilst I wait for equipment
to be available.
As I plan on making several pieces and
advertisement including multiple methods, I
could run out of time.
I will make sure to make a plan of what I want
to have done each week and do work in my
own time.
I may forget equipment such as my camera or a
memory stick on certain days.
I will always have backups on my email I can
access anywhere and will always make sure I
have other things to do if I forget things also.
I plan on taking images of other people for one
or two of my pieces, and they may be
unavailable.
I will make sure to notice people in advance
and have backups just in case they suddenly can
not do it.
16. Health and Safety
Potential Issue How will the issue be
avoided?
working on a pc for a long period of time can
cause strains in your back and neck from sitting
in one position all day.
therefore I will take regular breaks throughout
and if this doesn't’t help you can get pillows
and stuff.
eye strains and headaches can be caused from
staring at a screen for a long period of time.
taking breaks and covering the screen with
dimmers can stop this from occurring.
leaving items such as bags and equipment on
the floors can block peoples way and cause
serious trip hazards.
I will make sure I keep everything of mine
under the desks completely out of peoples way.
using computers and a lot of tech can be a
serious fire hazard.
I will not bring any liquids close to the
equipment and make sure wires and over fire
hazards are well kept and organised.
When going to taking pictures for my project I
want to find abandoned buildings and darker
places, which could be dangerous in general.
I will try and do mot of the photography during
the day, and will always be with a group of
people.
drawing and using the graphics tablet for too
long can cause repetitive strain injuries in your
hands.
so I will make sure to take breaks when doing
this and not spend too long drawing each time I
do.
