However because of the huge popularity of this a blue version followed a few months later. The RPG games where released a few years later to Europe and America however only the red and blue versions were produced.<br />

Game details. <br />The game is a role playing game as you see yourself as a young boy walking throughout the fictional world of Kanto aiming to collect all 151 Pokémon.<br /> It received an aggregated score of 89% on game ratings and is on the list for the top 100 games of all time. <br />It also is in the Guinness book of world records for the best selling RPG game of all time. <br />

  6. 6. Marketing<br />The original Pokémon games were were released at the same time as a Pokémon film was released in England. There was a large amount of advertising which was aimed at young children and obviously worked as the film and games were both big successes. <br />
  7. 7. production<br />The most successful game in Pokémon history is diamond with its twin game pearl being the third most successful. The budget for these two games was £100,000. the Pokémon cards which were brought out at the same time as the game have brought in $9billion dollars so far with the total revenue being $15billion. <br />
