Proud to be me social media
1.
2. Personally, I don’t think people want to search
for things. I like how the Proud 2B Me website
uses buttons at the bottom of their home page.
These buttons include: donate, join the nation,
and stamp out. This allows to links to the
resources that your website provides at many
different locations on the page
Could create discussion forums that encourage
support groups
Blogs: there is a link to your posts on the home
page, but it isn’t that inviting. Spark attention. I
believe that hearing our stories can be inspiring,
convicting, supportive, and informative. Draw
your internet viewers to your words because
they hold weight.
3. One thing I noticed is that Proud 2B Me
provides a lot of info. People are wowed by
numbers and statistic, they want proof and
they want to know they aren’t alone. Your
studies are grounded in research, show that/
give links to that. (reference the real deal
drop down tab)
I do like their use of Q&A. I think this is
something that will allow you to make even
the smallest difference and hook people into
joining your program for long term help and
counsel
4. Everyone loves a quotable moment
-Just a thought… put pictures of sticky notes on the
page for SFG that girls have written or create your own
with encouraging words
Most of Proud 2B Me’s pages provide links to articles
and references for girls should be proud to be
themselves, this includes: food, media, fashion, ect.
-Personally I want to see original work and I think that’s
what you guys provide with your blogs and workout
designs along with curriculum
-Speaking of curriculum, the SFG site should probably
be updated with how to become a coach, including
things that your crowd funding video talks about
I also like that they include interviews, you have
some footage for interviews, I think that is something
you can put to use here
6. Here are some things that stand out to me on
the Proud 2Be Me website:
-After looking through the website it is very
crowded, I like that yours isn’t so don’t try to get
too carried away. Draw the crowd in but don’t
create one yourself
-They seem to use a downstream approach
-it acknowledges viewpoints that are
already developed and tries to fix stigmas that
don’t include the viewers input, reiterate the
autonomy that SFG/SFC creates and the fact that
they are creating new norms/expectancies that
advert from health problems
