• Dropbox is a cross-platform cloud-based storage application and service
  operated by Dropbox, Inc. The service enables users to store and sync files
  online and between computers and share files and folders with others using
  file synchronization.
• While Dropbox functions as a storage service, its focus is on
  synchronization and sharing.
• Majority of the users store their information on a webpage and later
  retrieve it.
• Many large companies utilize Dropbox for storage of numerous important
  files and data.

EXPANDING AND ATTRACTING
• The best ways for Dropbox to expand and
  attract more users would be to primarily market
  to Apple.
  – Many Apple users are faced with the difficulty of
    transferring their older windows files to their new
    Apple computer. Dropbox allows files to be
    automatically converted to the format of the machine
    they are using.
  – Google could also benefit from making dropbox
    proprietary to their new line of smart phones in order
    to better compete with the Apple IPhone and get a
    higher market share.
What’s next for Dropbox
•   Improvements for international speed
•   easier navigation/editing for iPhone users
•   update notifications
•   lock folders for more security
•   video steaming
•   Future looks good because it becoming more
    accessible
•   Reaching out to mobile devices, such as PDA’S, I
    phone, and Blackberry’s
•   Expanding more and more
Conclusions

• Dropbox will continue to grow.
• They have good ideas and a good
  product.
• More companies will utilize Dropbox.
  Making it a valuable resource.
• Might replace the jump drive
