What type of reader is targeted? The type of reader that this magazine cover is targeted at
How do you know this? (Try and give are mainly the people that go to this school and in this

How can the readers interact with the
magazine?
Describe the images on the front The image on this cover are of a group of school
cover - focus on: clothes, facial children in P.E uniform all looking up at a birds eye
expression etc view (high angle shot) with them all holding a piece of
sports equipment; this tells us that the magazine is
definitely focused on sports and people interested in
sports. Other images that are used are in the bubble at
the bottom where it acts as a mini contents, are images
of topics, articles included in other pages; it shows
images of flags, radios and a girl on a horse.
What else appears on the cover? Look A title is shown on the right hand side of the magazine
at the language and punctuation used that says “Junior athletics on the go!” in large capital
letters in white and red on a green background. Also the

for the coverlines use of the slogan and how it is edited by saying
“Achieving success together” with the success bit in a
darker red than the rest of it.
