Our 5-step divorce mediation process
can save you time and money.
Start by clicking the ‘Free Consultation’ button.
Provide a few basic details.
Our professional case manager will contact you to help
assess your unique situation, determine if online mediation is
right for you.
You will also receive a confirmation email that will include a
link where you can enter the Divorce Mediation Center and
set your account password.
Use the link in the email to login and
reset your password.
We will schedule your free consultation with you, your spouse
and our professional mediator (via online meeting software) where
we will explore your unique situation.
Before proceeding, you will need to agree to the terms
of the mediation.
After you login to the system, you will be prompted to
start the mediation process.
The mediator puts the information you provide into a
document that will be used as a point of reference.
throughout the mediation process.
After you submit the intake form we will assign your case to one
of our professional mediators. You will receive an email that will
let you know when your mediator has opened your case.
After logging into your account, you will be
able to view your mediator’s opening statement.
You can respond to the opening statement, upload
requested documents, or have a private
conversation with your mediator.
A confirmation window will appear before you post your
message, allowing you to make sure that you are posting
the information that you want to post.
The Divorce Mediation Center can be used exclusively, or
you may choose to handle some conversations offline,
such as on a conference call.
Within the mediation room you and your spouse can
see all of the information posted.
Your mediator will take you through the process of
discussing the different parts of divorce.
Uploading files (such as supporting documents) is easy. Simply
click “Add Files” and browse your computer for the right file,
give the file a name and description then click “upload.”
The file will appear as a document with your reply.
The mediator will help reframe your conversations
and lead you through the process of coming to
your own agreement.
The information decided in offline activities will be input
into the system so that there is a record that both parties
can refer back to and agree on.
If you have information that you want to talk about privately
with your mediator without your spouse being able to see the
conversation, you can use the “Private with Mediator” option.
When all of the essential agreements have been made, you
will work with your mediator to create a Marital
Settlement Agreement (MSA).
Each party will review the MSA and ensure
that it is precisely what they agreed to
during the mediation process.
The mediator will then send the MSA and any other necessary
information to our legal document preparers who will draft the
legal documents necessary for you to file with the courts.
Now you’ve seen how the process works, we invite you to
schedule your free consultation today.
