months
ď‚› The information focuses on consumption
of the different commodities provided by
the facilities
ď‚› The data was collected from 3 regions:
Mombasa, Nairobi and Kisumu
4. CONSUMPTION
ď‚› In general DEPO has had the highest consumption in the past
5 months taking up 42%
ď‚› Emergency Contraceptive pills was the least consumed at
1% and IUCD at 3% was also low
ď‚› Implants and POP had almost an equal rate of consumption
differing by 2% between them
ď‚› COC Pills also experienced a high consumption over the
period standing at 28%
6. TREND ANALYSIS
ď‚› Generally, in October the consumption in all the
commodities hit a high time low then recovered in
November
ď‚› DPMA Consumption shot over the period having a
linear upward trend in consumption
ď‚› COC too had a steady increase with its highest
consumption in November
ď‚› ECP and IUCD had the lowest consumption with ECP
having a constant/flat rate consumption over the period
